ok i am about to tow 4000 miles from wa to ga the long way through la, vegas, st louis.
back to the point.
i got a 07 ram QC 4x4 supercharged hemi with ats diesel tranny and other modds not woth note here.
she can run 8.4 psi, normal driving i see 2 psi accelerating.
i was wondering what boosted trucks see on tow milage
non boosted post for comparision.
need and idea for money need to save
Haulin 20ft car haule with house hold goods aswell about 6k in trailer.

If you're boosted you should actually see better mileage than the n/a guys because you can see more charge air at lower RPMs once you get the 'charger spooled up. For reference, modified n/a motor, when towing I see 13-15mpg and non-towing is 17-20 running a custom 91 tune.

i see 1 psi at 1700. you 13 mpg at 2500rpm?

With tow-haul on, towing on level ground at 120km/hr I'm usually in the 2000-2400 RPM range, but through the mountains I'm typically in the 2800-3500RPM range where my current 6.1L cam makes the best torque. In our gen, the T/H function disables the MDS, so there goes a lot of possible fuel savings, plus I typically downshift manually going downhill and let the trans do most of the braking then use my truck and trailer brakes to control speed.
