I swapped a set of factory off road package wheels and tires onto my 2019 Ram 1500 and it's not recognizing the TMPS sensors in the new set of wheels. What is the correct technique to retrain the sensors? I've seen everything from disconnecting the battery to having someone use a specialized tool on them to just driving until reset themselves. Could they still be looking for a signal from the truck they were originally on?

No, I used the originals that came with the other set of wheels. They're also off of a 2019 Ram 1500.

They should be transmitting on the same frequency then.

Any chain type tire store should have the hand held device that makes the TPMS sensors & the TPMS module communicate with each other

I don't know if a few starts & stops with the ignition being turned on & off will activate the TPMS
