Greetings fellow Ram Cummins enthusiasts and owners! I have a 2010 2500 6.7 with the auto-stick transmission. I bought it used from my local dealer 6 months ago with 28000 miles and it now has 34000.

In the morning when I first start my truck and shift into reverse the truck will intermittently lunge backwards. The last time it happened it was so abrupt that it killed the engine. I am getting ready to schedule a warranty visit with my dealer but was looking for some feedback from other owners first. Since this is an intermittent problem, and worse when the weather is cold, I'm pretty sure the dealer will not be able to see it happen, which concerns me.

Thanks,
Kevin

Had my warranty appointment on 3/22/10. They said there was an ECM update that should help. We'll see.

ECM update didn't help. Had a front end recall appointment for first thing this morning so I left the truck at the shop last night. Hopefully when they drive it first thing this morning they'll see the problem.
