I have a 2007 dodge 1500 ram 4x4 larmie 5.7l hemi 5 speed auto trans.and this morning i want to start it up and couldnt. long story stort it woulnt go into park, i can shift down through the gears to 1st from drivers seatbut it will not go up through the gears to park. I can shift it manually from under the truck at the trans.to parking gear, disconected cable at trans mount and shifting maually up and down is consistent execpt a little harder to shift from rev to park so i dont think its the trans. any addvice is appreciated

problem solved

trans cable was burnt wherte it was touching exust man. repaced cable done deal
