So i might be a complete idiot. :doh:

I took out a bolt on my nv3500 transmission thinking it was the fill bolt... it wasnt. now it wont go back in. i think it was holding something in place inside the tranny and now it has moved and i cant get the bolt back in.

heres the pictures of the bolt. after i removed it and how far it goes back in before it hits something and wont go in all the way

anyone know how to get this back in?!!?!?!? or am i gonna have to do disassemble the transmission to fix this?!?!

well if anyone is interested. i fixed mine with a bent coat hanger. i shoved it through the drain plug and used it to push the reverse shaft support back into position while my friend looked through the bolt hole and guided me. i'm super lucky.
