in the early 3rd gens the 47re didn't hold up too well. dodge has a reputation for trans problems since the mid eighties, shhhhh, don't let everyone else know all of the past major quality problems have been corrected, all the ford and chevy owners will want a dodge, then we all will have to pay more for our next ram.
