i get this code on my 03 ram. it says power steering pressure performance. is this a sensor? i just had ps fluid and serpentine belt changed before it came on. any help is greatly appreciated!!

Check your fluid level and make sure the cap is tight on the ps resivoir. The first time you turn the wheels it sucks half of the fluid out of the res. It should've been done when it got flushed but that's where I'd start.

If that's all good then it's probably the power steering pressure switch. They sell them at auto parts stores for about $35 and it's a 5 min swap.

Is there a DIY anywhere for doing this swap? I've got this same code, with a few weeks after new pump and plenty of fluid still.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am getting this code in my 04 and I just want to make sure that I understand if the reservoir is full and cap is tight you think its probably just a bad switch?
