Well I just got the dreaded P00AF, P003a, and U010c codes. Ran great towing my jeep about 17.5k total gross weight combined from Durham to Roanoke. Coming home I had intermittent exhaust brake and poor turbo performance. So off to the dealer this week. See what they say. Likely the actuator is bad.

Always use exhaust brake when driving it so it gets exercised all the time and I tow the above weight once a month or so, so it does get worked.

These parts come off a production line and they are man made so there will be a certain percentage that will fail. You were just one of the unlucky ones who got one of the few parts that will fail. The good thing is they can fix it and you will be good as new.

Don't know if i surprised or not. Dealer called and he has the turbo and actuator in stock. Have an appointment for tomorrow. He said it is usually the turbo not the actuator.

Turbos fail, it happens. Surprising they had one in stock!

Dealership installed a new actuator yesterday. All seems good now.
