When I started my truck this morning, all I got was the Ram logo screen. It appears to be stuck trying to boot. It has happened a few times in the past, but this time a restart didnt fix it.

Is there a way, like a combination of buttons, that can reset this radio? I stopped by the dealership but they couldnt tell me anything without putting it in the shop. I know it is Windows CE controlled, so there has to be a reset somewhere.

BTW, it happened at exactly 3333 miles.

Called Uconnect support- no help. Took radio out of dash to look for reset button- no such luck. To the dealership she goes :(

Try to push and hold down the mute and browse buttons for a few seconds I think I read that will bring up a menu for reset.

One thing I did notice is that there is a regular micro USB connector on the back of the radio for the center console.

Mine just did the same thing, now I have a blue screen while driving and my back up camera comes on at a stop while in drive lol. I tried to get it going and so did the dealer, they called Chrysler and they said I need a new radio, I have about 5000 km on my truck

Is the XM tuner inside of the radio? It is gonna suck if I lose my year of XM. Because that is money out of my pocket...

I just started having this exact problem. Before this started a few days ago, i noticed my iphone 5 was not always playing music when plugged into the aux port in the center console like it used to. Then all of a sudden the same thing, blue screen while driving and backup camera when the brakes are applies at a stop. I have a dealer appointment today, think my warrenty ended like a week ago. I really just want to replace the screen with an aftermarket navigation stereo but im afraid it will get stolen like all my aftermarket stereos have in the past. This sucks.

Any luck on this problem? Did you have to get a new radio? Mine is doing the same, dealer blamed the battery...well after some ohm meter testing (and a new battery) the radio is the parasite!

There is a TSB on this...

Took mine to the dealer and the service Mgr was a total dick. Although I already did their suggested disconnect of the battery and touch the cables together to drain the caps, this guy acts like I am incapable of living. Then a svc tech comes over and immediately says "there's a TSB on that and the mfg recommends replacement". So there you have it. Ram knows its a common issue and like every other mfg won't do anything for the customer to remedy it. Luckily I have an extended warranty and the radio is covered under it. If you don't have this option then you will have to pay out of pocket to replace it. Hope this helps anyone thinking there is an easy fix, there isn't.

I bought my Truck used with 13 thousand miles.
Its a 2018 1500 Sport.
I noticed a update from Sirus XM
Come over my instrument cluster.
Now its terrible.
My screen goes black when it wants to.
When it came on I could only talk to Sirus reps who connected me with u connect.
When Sirus updated more channels Chrysler vehicles on east coast got a bad dose of somthing.
I have talked to unconnect, no up dates available.
Disconnected battery it came on for a bit and then shut down.
My info screen,radio,backup camera, Bluetooth are all useless.
They work when they want,and do not work when you need them.
I have called customer support no help.
Sirus they want you to subscribe.
I have owned Dodge Chrysler vehicles for 40 years.
I Have a SRT 300,and a 2017 Sport 4x4 besides the one I drive.
I have never been so irritated over a problem since I stopped buying fords over a intermittent problem no one could fix.
I am the third owner,so I'm thinking it had been serviced for this before.
I'm going to call the orginal dealer with the vin and try to find out if it was a lemon.
Its a great truck other wise loaded and has great power.
I really dislike the customer service attitude from Sirus.
The unconnect person did her best to help i will say that.
Our 2017 has had no issues except a hemi tick.
The 300 navigation never worked right.
But my daily driver had great Nav.
Until Sirus sent this over the air update.
I do not have time to eat lunch let alone go to the dealer multiple times.
My Son owns a 2015 2500 Cummings turbo Deisel.
It just cost 6400.00 dollars to change the turbo at 80,000 miles
He also owns a SRTChallenger
My brand loyalty is beginning to fade.
