Uconnect 5 and GPS Antenna input

I downloaded my build sheet for my Outdoorsman with uconnect 5 radio. one of the options listed is "GPS Antenna Input".

Can I add a GPS to uconnect 5 or is this something that is related to the compass function.

It works with your radio and your cell phone(bluetooth), no way to hook up a GPS to it.
