I live in Chattanooga Tennessee and have a 2018 Ram 1500 Night Edition Crew Cab. Noticed the same upper left hand side screen delamination issue this week. It is currently at the area dealer getting looked at as a warranty issue. My Ram is at 34,700 miles. Just adding to the list...
Just out of curiosity....where were everyone else’s truck put together.... maybe it was a bad batch of radios at the same place ...

2018 RAM 2500, looks just like this. Going to dealer today.

My 2018 ram 2500 screen is delaminating. started 2 months. Live in Houston Tx. Out of truck has 52000 miles and is out of warranty. Sounds like a widespread problem. Has ram helped anyone with this problem.

The screen on my 2018 Lone Star Silver is doing the same thing. Located in Texas so it’s warmer here as well. I’m at 67k miles so I might be up out of luck even though I don’t feel like this is an issue related to mileage at all.
Same thing happened to me. Just visited Tomball Dodge and they told me my 2018 is out of warranty. I do have 40k miles but this is the radio not the engine! Pretty disappointing

Well same thing is happening on my 2018 2500 Ram Laramie going to call dealer tomorrow see if i can get a warranty replacement started.

Bought summer of 2018 and has 27k plus max care so it should be covered.

Got it in today. They are ordering a replacement under warranty. On backorder though. So hurry up and wait.

I have the same issue in an 18 Grand Cherokee that I bought in early 18, out of warranty. What's the cost if anyone has paid for it?

Took my truck in two weeks ago oil change and have them check out my radio ordered another radio and I got it last week but it in his exchange radio not a new one but I guess it’s just as good as
I was surprised when my dealer told me that they were aware of this problem I didn’t think there was that many but all fixed so I’m a happy camper long as it doesn’t de laminate again

After RamCares set me up with the Uconnect Specialist I was told that I needed to set an appointment up to verify the radio was indeed delaminating. She told me that this is definitely an issue with the 18 model and the glue that was used in the screens.She told me that it has not escalated to recall level but they were trying to take care of the ones that they are aware of.

Today I had my appt at 10am. They wrote a work order that it was indeed the screen. At 3pm today my uconnect specialist called me and let me know that she had just talked to the service manager and they were covering the cost of my replacement at 100%. It has been ordered and I just have to wait for it to come in.

My truck has 52k miles on it. So I would encourage anyone that has the issue and worries about the lack of warranty just follow through, it worked for me.

I’m a bit over the warranty with regard to mileage and when I called the dealership they said they weren’t aware of the issue and to take it up with Chrysler! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Not sure where to go from here to resolve this. Seems like they should cover this.

I would certainly take it to the dealer if we can clarify coverage despite the mileage taking the truck out of warranty. What happens when you open a case and how can I help in that process? As of now, they told me if it’s out of warranty they won’t do it and I’d have to talk to Chrysler.

Well new head unit is installed. Android auto is not working. It does not see my Apple iPad. And wifi is telling me to open an account. Service tech says it will take time for it to learn every thing back.

Anyone have any thoughts? Will it eventually find the media hud and see my ipod and android phone? Will it self fix the 4g att wifi or am going to have to call att and have them switch it over. Seems to have figured out my siriusxm account.

Good morning. New forum member here. I am very concerned with the delamination. The UAQ radio I bought for my truck had previously had the screen replaced with an improved LG Part. Apparently these screens have the same issue as it is already delaminating. I live in KY and it has not been as hot here as in FL and TX. I talked with infotainment yesterday and they agree MOPAR has a supplier issue with LG. They contacted LG directly and of course LG passed the buck to MOPAR. They said in the next few weeks they are going to start rebuilding their own screens instead of using OEM due to quality. They are seeing multiple screen replacements from all over the country. I guess we will see where this goes.

My service guy had not seen a single one until my truck. Saw 2 more in the week after I took mine by for diagnosis.
