I have the auto dim mirror with Uconnect that came with the truck when I bought it (used). I do not know if it came factory installed or not, buy I tend to believe it did. The radio/clock is having issues and a mechanic advised me that it needs to be replaced. I want to go HD radio, but do not want to lose the Uconnect. I have read a lot of the threads and see that on the bottom right corner of the radio it should have some codes. Mine does not (or at least not on the outside). It has AM/FM, CD player, an external MP3 plug, and clock. Will any HD radio work with the Uconnect, or do I need to be looking for anything in particular? Thank you in advance for any assistance.

I do believe the uConnect runs through the factory radio, but they are pretty cheap to replace!

any radio that you get has to be for a year before 2009
the radios were on a LOW SPEED BUS before then
2009 & newer radios work on a HIGH SPEED BUS
If you choose to use a HIGH SPEED BUS radio in your model, at least one special harness has to be used, whether it has Nav or not

Possibly these radios will fit your Ram, i am not sure which radios have what
RBQ
RAK... this one seems to match yours, i see them on eBay from $89 to $200
