Hey Guys. So I purchased a 430 Uconnect with Nav as an upgrade to my base model 430. How do I get the security code? The dealer is telling me they can't do it. I provided the receipt and VIN of purchase and no one seems to know how to make this happen. Any suggestions?

Try 0000 that is the code my 430N needed when I purchased mine used. It may be a default code or a standard used by resellers of these radios.
Thanks. I'm going to try this later. I've been told these default codes do not work but I'll give it a shot.

DISCUSSION:
Starting in 2012 model year radios will come equipped with an anti-theft feature. Once a
radio is installed in a vehicle, it learns the vehicle’s VIN and cannot be used in another
vehicle unless an anti-theft code is applied.

will appear on the display.
4. Enter the 4-digit code by pressing the corresponding preset buttons in sequence.

I had the same issue and I called the dealer and they kept telling me there was nothing they could do. After I went up there and raised hell, 10 minutes later a technician found the code in their system based on the radio serial number I think. Trust me, they can get it.

I recently tried calling the number above. (A friend of mine got me his dealer code.) They told me the Ram/Jeep etc can no longer be done on the phone and that It must be done though the "Dealer Connect" program at the dealer. After calling 8 or so dealers I finally found one who could do it. Most of them had no idea what I was talking about and told me that a 2014 model year doesn't have codes... I also found this place on the net that can supposedly do it for $19.95 if you cant find a dealer.
