I had a stock Alpine 10 speaker system. The amp was defective, and even though some speakers weren't working I had booming base and clear highs.

I replaced the amp with a 12 channel Kicker amp and now all the speakers work, but the booming base and clear highs are gone even though I've turned them all the way up in the equalizer.

Do I need to buy new speakers now or is there's some sort of the configuration the dealership needs to do?
