Ok. I'm new to the v10 world as well as the dodge world. Not complaining at all, I love my truck. Only gripe about it is limited info/parts on performance for it. I have stock exhaust manifolds and no cats going into a dual in/out Magnaflow muffler off a Ford lightning in place of cats/muffler. I'm at a crossroads of doing a converted diesel 3 or 4 inch single exhaust system on it with it going to a single pipe as far forward on the truck as I can or just doing true dual with x-pipe. Then there is the question of sticking with factory 2.25 inch pipe or bumping it up t something bigger. Headers are also in the trucks future. Any info or help would be greatly appreciated.

I too have considered something like a 4" MBRP for a diesel to use on my V-10 with a straight through muffler. I would think it would give it a deep throaty sound. I have heard a few dual exhaust V-10s on the road and they sounded like raspy little 6 cylinder motors. I think they need a larger pipe size to get the deep sound and let that 488" breathe.
