Found a used vararam intake locally. I live in a pretty heavy winter state. Read something’s that vararam and snowy conditions can be catastrophic. I see there are pre filters available for them. Anyone run a Vararam with a prefilter in snowy conditions?

Every day for the past 5 years. No issues as far as making me concerned. I live in Michigan too. So we get it all, rain, snow, slush.
I enjoy hearing it sucking in the air right along with the exhaust note.
I bought it just because I liked the looks of it.
