I’m having an issue in preparing for winter up here in Alberta. I’m getting heat on the passenger side but only Luke warm on the drivers side. When I change the switch to demist, the temperature feels about Luke warm on all 4 vents (not as different). Hoses to the core feel the same temp both side. And when I first turn the heat on, it’s initially warm for like a few seconds and the Goes cold.
I hear the heater cores get blocked up easily, so I will be flushing that with CLR soon, I also have heard about blend door actuators being a problem?
My truck is a 2005 1500 SLT and it’s a single zone climate control.
Any past experiences or advice to help me remedy this before the winter gets here in full force?
Thanks a lot in advance!
