Hello all,

I'm new to the forum. Just traded in my 07 1500 for a 16 power wagon. The question I have is that my window sticker has the vsim upfitter module listed, but the truck doesn't have the aux switches that are normally below the tow/haul, hill descent, etc switches. What is the point of having the vsim module without have the aux switches to control anything I might hook up to it? Or do I just have a total misunderstanding of how this thing works? It is not the factory Aux switches. It allows several pre-wired functions through the computer. It's used by upfitters for such things as wig wag light functions and siren cut outs when the doors are opened. There is a whole list of things this module can do.

The Aux switches can interface with the VSIM, but just because your build sheet says VSIM does not mean you get the aux switches.
