It’s kind of appalling that pretty much every 2017 and 2018 Ram 2500/3500 is forced to deal with this problem without any support from Chrysler/Stellantis.
My ‘18 2500 started doing it last winter during a big snowstorm at only 28k miles and has had the issue intermittently ever since. As has been mentioned previously, it gets most acute after wet or humid weather and frequently when on rough surfaces. I have videos of it turning on/off almost continuously while driving. I had it all documented with my dealer and filed a report with NHTSA, but I can’t even get a part to fix it. I’m about ready to just trade this truck and make it their problem again.

No, no recall and no help from Ram Cares/Chrysler/Stellantis. I had filed a case with RamCares back when my ‘18 2500 was waiting on parts. The parts came in and the dealer installed them apparently without regard to the factory guidelines, so I have no way of knowing if both the hcu and abs module were bad or just the hcu. They were replaced simultaneously, instead of one at a time. I got a bill for $1362.64 with absolutely zero help from the company or the dealer. They didn’t even apply the $50 off service coupon the service department was advertising on the dealer website!
So Ram Cares called me (on my wife’s phone - which I never gave them the number for) yesterday and said they closed the case since it was already completed and there’s no warranty coverage! Useless.

Finally see there is a recall for this issue. Unfortunately, no parts available. So, this is how they will get around not fixing these vehicles. Don't create a working part and then you don't have to pay to fix them.
The real kicker is that they’ve known about this problem for at least six years and have simply been ignoring it and charging customers to “fix” their vehicles by installing yet another known defective part. It’s gross negligence and customer abuse on Stellantis’ part.
