Does anyone have (or know of) a pic of the Weathertech hood deflector on a 4th Gen? I've looked everywhere, and can't find one. I had a chrome Mopar on my truck, but decided I didn't like it and took it off.

I have the Mopar Smoked version. I have to admit the 4 plastic push pins that came with the bug shield were worthless. The bug shield flopped all over the place and the pins pulled out after a few times of opening and closing the hood.

I used those rubber expanding nuts by drilling out the holes in the hood a frog hair and installing them. Then used hex headed bolts to fasten the shield down to the rubber plugs. The shield is not going any where soon! Solid as a rock.

Thanks for the tip, but I really didn't have any problems with the push pins...I just didn't like the way it looked on my truck (probably just me and my weird taste). I've been looking at the other brands (Wade, EGR and AVS), and of course I want to see what Weathertech has. I might just e-mail them directly and see if they've got a pic they can send.

Well, after finding a rock chip (and small dent) where the deflector should have been, I checked some local auto parts stores. I decided on an AVS Bugflector II, which looks pretty good (I think). It's a little more aggressive than the Mopar, and should do the job.
