I had a moment of insanity a few weeks ago and decided to trade my 2010 black Laramie 2x4 in for a 2014 white Limited 4x4. I couldn't turn down the trade offer and rebates. In 2 weeks I have already put an Access Lorado tonneau, a K&N drop in filter, a chrome tailgate handle cover(which I think should be included on this trim level), 35% tint all the way around and a shorter stubbie billet antenna. So here it is.

Wow, I thought the bumpers were body color on the Limiteds. They are on my black one. I like the metal front bumper instead of plastic. Only downside to the trim level. Results in loss of tow hooks. Does yours have tow hooks? Couldn't really see in the pictures.

I have the Limited appearance package. It's the front and back chrome bumpers with the side chrome accent strip. Nope, I don't have tow hooks either. I don't think they are standard on the Limited.

I do think it's strange that fender flares aren't standard either.

LOL, that sticker isn't so bad. The one I hated and had to get off ASAP was the .com one they put in the top center of the back window.

You can add the tow hooks anytime with the plastic bumpers, all you have to do is cut the square holes in the trim panel where the tows hooks would stick out. Tons of guys with sport trucks do it all the time. Do a search on the forum here, lots of info, lots of pics with installed hooks with plastic (sport truck) bumper covers. There is a couple members on here that have detailed install pics as well with how you cut the trim panel out for the hooks, just cant remember their names.

I did a search and found this one; (13 and 14 trucks should be the same install w/plastic bumper covers)

This was the one i was looking for. Its an earlier 4th gen, but should still come close as far as installing the tow hooks.
I know both links are for sport trucks, but some of you with plastic bumbers asked for info. Hope this helps most you guys out.

Ram 1500 Tow Hook (Part No: 82210967)

I noticed they changed the trim panel design for 2013 & 2014, so be aware of this when installing the tow hooks.

Yea, I've seen the posts on the tow hook install with plastic bumpers. Considered doing it. I think Ram doesn't put them on plastic bumper trucks because of the potential damage to the plastic bumper if you ever have to actually use the tow hooks.

Yep, my exact thoughts on that subject too...! Sport guys still install them anyways. At least the links will give some good insight on either models regardless.

I got Limited also. Traded in Audi TTS and what a big difference(literally). Never had a truck before and still getting used to driving this monster. I looked at big 3 truck manufacturer and RAM was the one I really liked. Now I'm shopping for Airstream to pull with this monster. Happy trucking!!

Congrats sir, she's a beauty! Now hurry up and get that dealer sticker off your tailgate, I hate when the dealer does that.
It is a nice truck I like the white on chrome

In regards to the dealer stickers, I was shocked when I picked mine up that it had absolutely no dealer stickers on it at all.

Some of my friends have bought vehicles from the same dealer I got my ram from and evidently this dealer doesn't do that for any (I figured they just forgot because I bought my truck on the last day of the month and at 10pm...as in walked in at 7pm and drove it off the lot at 10pm).

My Limited also had the Appearance package with chrome bumpers. I put tow hooks on it, you can buy the two little plastic pieces that surround the tow hooks. Only thing difficult about it was that a few of the bolts were a little challenging to reach and that the torque spec for the tow hooks takes a lot of muscle when you're laying on your back.

I also put Bushwacker OE style flares on mine combined with Weather Tech mud flaps that are designed for the factory flares. I'm happy with the results.

Looking good!!

Any chance of a close up shot of the tailgate handle? I've been contemplating that. I hate the dull black spot from stock handle.

If you go to the 2014 forum and look at the LED Emblem you will see the back of my 2014 1500 Limited I too added the tailgate chrome and it looks amazing. Def. add it, but buy it online not at your dealership. I think its around $35
