So a few months back I was using my spotlight powered by the center console outlet. The light and the power to the plug-in gave out.
I checked the fuses myself and all were good. So a few weeks ago I brought it to the dealer. They said," fuses were good but we are going to have to trace wires to find the problem" so I booked an appointment.
Appointment was Tuesday past and yesterday they called and said that they fixed the plug. Apparently the fuse was missing..??
Anyways he also said I have a new problem. The truck is in the garage and won't come out of park.
They ordered some kind of shift bracket for the truck and that didn't fix it so he said he's going to have to check the wires and it may be also be an ecu probelm.
I didn't think the ecu had anything to do with a transmission. But anyways that's a pretty random problem that I'm having a hard time believing.
Any comments or similar coincidences?

Dealership is still looking at it. I'd say it's something like that. They hauled the dash apart because the outlet wasn't working to trace wire and the mechanic might have hit something I guess.
Thanks

I just had an issue with the truck not going into park or out of came down to a wire disconnect in the brake pedal sensor. worth a look
I told them about what you said and he's going to check it out.
Also now there is only one headlight and one taillight working.
Something is going wrong somewhere.

Anybody else with any feedback on this?

Uh, yeah, but nothin useful. Working at a dealership does not a mechanic make. You really need to have a conversation with the service manager.

Feels like I'm writing all this to myself but anyways I'll update it anyways

Dropped my truck off at the dealer yesturday for the blower motor not working. It was suppose to be fixed today.
Anyways apparently there is major wiring issues again. Or the same ones. I think the last dealer absolutely ruined my truck. Everything worked fine before all this. Anyways I'm intitled to a rental vehicle but there's none in or around my area so I can't even get one.
If anybody around my area sees this
Do not ever but anything from royal garage or ever bring your vehicle there. It's turned into a mess and no I got that feeling that my truck will never be the same again.
Anyways I don't know what else to do except wait it out and hope for the best.

Just read through the issues you are having and this sounds awful! I can't even believe how many issues they have caused. That's the problem with mechanics who are not properly trained in the modern electronics and wiring in newer vehicles. It's not all manual brakes and carbs anymore.
