Hey everyone, I have a 2006 Dodge RAM 4.7L Quad-Cab. I'm wanting to Increase my gains on my 4.7L. Right now I am sitting @ 235hp, 295 torque. Looking to get somewhat close to a HEMI. So far for mods I can think of would be:

Flowmaster/Catback exhaust
Superchip Tuner
K&N Cold Air Intake 57 Series
212 Cams
4.56 Gears

I'm new to modding so If someone could please correct me If I am wrong and tell me what to do correctly . Or I am willing to do a HEMI swap If that's possible? So far I have heard for a HEMI, Transmission & Computer would run around $2000? Not Including Install (Wouldn't have no Idea to do It). Give me some Ideas! Thanks everyone!

My suggestion, if you want hemi performance, detail her, and sell it. Then shop for a hemi. I know the last gen 4.7's had pretty good numbers, but the only way to get the power of a hemi would be a blower. Pretty expensive and not sure if the 4.7 internals would be up to taking boost. I've driven the 4.8 GM's and the 4.7 Tundras, they both felt pretty lacking to me, as well. Can't beat cubic inches in a truck.

From experience, I totally agree. Great advice.

I agree with hydrex, buy a Hemi if you want performance don't mess with the 4.7. As for the mods you propose, waste of money. IMO.
