What did you do to your Ram today?

First off, I apologize if there is already a thread for this. I looked and used the search function and did not see one.

I'll start off:

I changed the oil and went to synthetic, changed the transfer case fluid, killed the door chime and sealed the LED 3rd brake light the previous owner neglected to. Last night, I installed my old 12's under the back seat.

Washed it last night for the Toronto RAM meet this morning. There were seven Rams present for breakfast at Zets. Good Times.

My truck is new ( 263 miles ). So, I tightened the wheel lugs and checked the tire pressure.

Some stupid person before I owned the truck overfilled the transmission fluid and it leaked out a ton around the dipstick and made bubbles in the fluid. Its raining now, so I didn't have time to drain fluid. Hopefully there's no damage to the transmission.

On the bright side, my third brake light doesn't leak anymore.

Well your post count would skyrocket if you did that! :hah:
Rotated tires, set tire pressures to 37psi., torqued lugs to 130ft-lbs. and set spare tire pressure to 40psi. I have big respect for all of you DIY'ers! We would make my Pops, GrandPops, and Great GrandPops all proud God bless their souls. Hahaha!

Replaced sway bar bushings and end links, power washed the under side and cleaned the wheels. More DIY stuff to do this week :)
Argh... stupid Dodge didn't put a drain plug in the pan. Even my old 02 GMC base truck had a drain plug...

I gave my Ram a pat on the hood and said, "How you doing today, buddy?"

I listened through the window to my girlfriend starting her up so I could hear the exhaust. I installed a Flowmaster Super 44 last week, and it sounds MEAN! If your looking for a fairly cheap way of adding that exhaust rumble, it's a good way to go. It was $89 for the stainless steal muffler ($79 for aluminum), $40 to get it installed(I got a great deal, installs usually run around $70).
Fixed the annoying squeak in the centre console lid. Turned out to be the tape that was installed where the bottom lid striker hits. I assume it was from the factory. The outer part of the electrical tape separated from the glue and was "clicking" whenever you pushed down on the console lid or went over bumps. Very annoying. Removed it and peeled off the leftover sticky part and now no more squeak. Also filled up with 91 across the border.
