I put air in the tires and topped off the power steering fluid. Also filled the truck up.

took dash apart ready to replace the heater core this weekend . yea its a sucky job but think i should be ok as long as the AC lines feed through the fire wall enough so i can pull the heater core out . if not ill have to get them taken off .

You'll have to disconnect the a/c lines. Sucks, but that's how it is...there is generally not enough "slack" to move the HVAC box around (at least on the Durango / Dakota / Accord that I've done heater cores on).

Good luck!

well i was thinking i might have to do that untill i found a video on youtube showing that the aftermarket heater core comes with swivel lines . i disconnected the saftey clips on the AC lines and had just enough room when i pulled the heater box away from the firewall. i had to hacksaw the old heater core lines off to get it out the housing as they dont swivel like the new one . took a couple of minutes routing the new lines through the firewall but it all went ok . if it wasnt for the swivel lines i would definatly have had to take the AC lines apart . the hardest job was taking the heater hose clips off near the firewall . hard to get to and they had been put on at the factory with the prongs facing upwards , GRRRRRR!
the whole job took me 5 hours and so far i think its fixed my fogging windshield problem .....crossing fingers anyway .
dont know how much a dealer or shop would have charged for this but probably not cheap .

Looks good. Today I got the check engine light read, to reveal some weird code dealing with the transmission. And yesterday I filled it with 89 gas for the first time, good boost in MPG. For the price I paid, it proves to be worth the extra cost when it comes to gas mileage per tank.

I left town before the Mother Goose Parade crowd hit town
why does everyone come to my town & drag their kids along to see balloons & floats with a story book theme, my town goes from 100,000 people to over 400,000 people to watch horses poop on the street

Yesterday, I fixed the LED 3rd brake light that the previous owner installed wrong (it was plugged in backwards) and also fixed the cable in my passenger rear door so it now opens from the inside.

Today, I finally took the air intake off to check and see if my plenum gasket was leaking. It was beautiful and spotlessly clean!

Funny you ask. Since this morning, I called the exhaust shop and waiting for a call back to get my truck in to have the Magnaflow installed. And since I was waiting around, I called and orderd my Mcgaughys 2/4 drop kit.

Been a good day so far and it's only 12:45!

I washed her today and cleaned the underside as well. She cleans up pretty well.
