I have a 2014 Sport with "premium" reverse lights. They are T20 base bulbs. Not 921 like regular ones. I can't seem to find anyone that sells a LED bulb that will fit these. I want error free too. Anyone have any that work?

7440 is the common equivalent of T20.

I paid extra for CAN-bus bulbs. Still gives me a bulb out warning. Really, the only sure way to not have bulb out warnings, is to actually put your own resistor in the circuit.

I went to super bright LEDs and found 11 results for a 7440 bulb. None of them were labeled as canbus.

Would you mind sharing the LED bulb number you are using?

I`m not sure of this, but i dont think the reverse lights are tied into the warning system. So, you might not need to worry about any kind of special bulb. I guess one way you can find out if they are connected to a warning system or not, just pull a reverse light bulb out to see if it activates the warning light in the dash.

There is definitely a warning for back-up lights.

Thanks for clarifying, i did not know for sure without taking out my bulbs. My 2010 didnt have the warning system, i guess the 2014`s now do.

I could live with a brighter bulb and not worry about the light out warning. Your only in reverse for a little bit.:doh:

All it does is chime once and briefly show a warning shortly after starting the truck.

I don't notice it anymore. But knowing that it's there does bother me a bit. I am the kind of person that can't stand having any kind of warning light on my dash.

5 Watt on the T15? Are these Canbus bulbs or not? Are you getting an error message?
