Hey everyone, new to the site figured this is probably the best place to post this.

I'm stuck on what to buy next for my ram. She's all stock for performance, mainly because all my dealers near me are very picky about aftermarket parts and warranty. But I'm not too worried about it.

Anyways I've got a good chunk of change saved up and I think it's time for an upgrade.

This is what i've been thinking--
-$2600 value of corsa exhaust, volant cold air and diablo tuner. 30hp+ gains
-More green decals
-Levelling kit
-Tint
-Rims and tires. $??
-Halo headlights with HID kit and HID kit for fog lights

Or possibly a few of the cheaper options and still get some cheaper good sounding exhaust thrown on for sound until later down the road. $2600 is pushing the limit that I'd like to spend. Just stumped on what would be the best thing to do right now, I do plan to get all of the above eventually.

Thanks for your time guys!

Damn nice lookin' truck you got there, Al. Damn nice! I'm liking the green stripage and decals on the black truck. As far as mods, do the big three, 1) tuner B) exhaust & last) CAI. Have fun and keep us posted with a few more pics of that bad ass beast.

I'd say leveling kit, wheels, and tires! You've got the body and interior looking great! (really liking the upholstery!) But, the stock wheels and tires aren't cutting it anymore, IMO. I think even those stock rims painted or powdercoated black would look hot with a leveling kit and some larger more aggressive tires. Also, with the tires, black wall out, no white lettering!

Thanks for the replies guys!

I, personally, think I'm leaning more towards the tires/wheels combo. A new set of wheels can change the whole look. And stock doesn't cut it. And besides those stock tires are terrible in the winter. But then again I do love exhaust.. I could live with the stock rims blacked out. And good point with the white lettering! Never thought about that!

Anyways I got the upholstery done in calgary from Cutting Edge Designs. Dan there is a fantastic guy to work with! He did an amazing job. They have everything you could ever want for materials.

How about some headers? Don't know how Borla cat backs compare, but I love mine. Have your dealer do the install. Also check what Mopar offers. Dealer can't say anything if you order Mopar stuff from him and he installs it. Headers and a cat back gave my 05 Ram about 30 more rwhp. How about painting calipers sublime green to match, if they aren't already. Very sharp!!

I just found a thread on here about someone customizing a borla setup on their ram. This is why i love these type of forums. The original $1200 borla cat-back system is now only going to cost me $500 and I'll still have that great borla sound. I originally wanted borla over corsa but didn't want to pay the price. Gives me the chance to customize my own tips too.

Anyways i jumped on this right away. Borla is ordered already. So exhaust will soon be done. Now I'm thinking Wheels/Tires, levelling kit and later on the CAI. Tuner can wait till summer when I'll need it most ;)

Another great idea! Painting the calipers! Adding that to my ever growing list. Thanks! The only problem with buying from the dealer and it being Mopar is that it's always more expensive and not necessarily better than other brands. Something to think about anyways.

Just had a pleasant phone call with Steve from Vararam. What a great guy! Vararam air intake on the way, along with borla exhaust. Can't wait!

I actually went with a Borla xr-1 sportsman muffler. I don't see the need in spending $1200 without install on a cat back system when I can buy a borla muffler for $120 and throw any custom tips I want on the end, meanwhile still using my stock exhaust pipes. So for now that's what I opted to do.

I leveled my truck, Bilstiens at 2.1 on the front, but for some reason I would see your truck lowered in the rear, JMO, but sweet looking ride. Congrats on a great looking truck.

Oh ya, well cabin air filter is a must. Ya and after that tint them fronts

Up here in Alberta, Canada our roads can get pretty rough. Lots of gravel too. I personally don't think lowering is the way to go for where i live.
