Does anyone know if it is just the 2011s that have the bad TCs?
If so, can it be identified by the build date?
My 2011 Sport was built Jan 18, 2011.
I am not experiencing the torque converter issue.
I'm wondering if it might rear it's ugly head in the future.

No, the issue isn't a "bad" batch of converters. The issue is that the 2011 trucks are sensitive to the amount of clearance (backlash) in the turbine damper hub spline. This clearance will naturally vary a bit due to manufacturing tolerances, so if you happen to get a converter with spline clearance near the high end of tolerance, you can get the noise. If you get a converter with low spline clearance, you will not get the noise.

Thank's TransEngineer, I was hoping you would answer this.
I guess I'm one of the lucky ones without the TC issue.
I was just concerned the problem might develop later.
