I love the two under seat and two trap door compartments in the back of my new crew cab. I usually don't carry a bunch of junk in my vehicles but since these compartments are hidden away I'm thinking I should take advantage of them.

So far I'm thinking....

Flash light
A good set of long, heavy gauge jumper cables.
Three way lug wrench or maybe an expandable breaker bar. I always help people change tires and the OEM lug wrenches are often too short after the 16 year old pimply face kid at Belle Tire torqued their lug nuts on with 200 ft/lbs of impact power.
Channel locks
Adjustable Wrench
Screw drivers (Phillips and flat head)
Utility Knife
Tow strap
Work Gloves
Duct tape
Zip ties
Roll of paper towels
Trash bags

I'm wondering if a quart of oil and small bottle of distilled water wouldn't also be a good idea.

Any other ideas?

Wish the side boxes would work with a shell

Was going to get the Ram Boxes but found out they interfere with a shell...
they are a great idea!:smiley_thumbs_up:

I could not do Ram boxes as well. I am getting a shell as well.

As for my compartments my son is 8 and we do a lot of activities and ride quads. We go to parks and fishing and just anywhere a boy can get skinned up. I put a first aid kit in one of them.

Glad I didn't get the sub upgrade now, may have to downgrade the length of the jumper cables since they FILL the passenger side set box. The RamBoxes are camping gear in case I get inspired all I'll need is to grab a cooler and kitchen box off the shelf and go.
Ratchet straps and a couple flashlights in one in floor box, have reminded me that I need to get a first aid kit to drop in too, think one will remain empty as the track smugglers hatch in case they decide to search for alcohol again this year.

Very similar to what I have plus toilet paper and a cheap harbor freight tarp.

All my tools and tie downs and such are in my Ramboxes.

Under seat storage I have a few types of armor all wipes, a hoodie, some microfiber towels, and a rain jacket.

Drivers side floor compartment so far is a first aid kit and some padlocks

Passenger side floor compartment is set up for the I enemy arrival of my first child in the next few weeks. Portable diaper changing station stocked with diapers, wipes, etc and some spare clothes and the like.

My stainless Colt 45 auto when I can't wear it inside restricted places like municipal buildings.

I usually have a lock box under my seat for that.

I actually avoid putting my guns in any storage compartment (glovebox) In a pinch I'll just stick them under the seat. If your car gets broken into they'll go after all the storage compartments but very rarely will look under a seat. But on the Ram the under seat and in floor compartments are pretty sneaky so those might be better.
