Curious when the low fuel light comes on with the Hemi? I filled up this morning took almost 24 gallons and light was not on yet. I have a 26 gallon tank.

My 2011, when it's get to 30 DTE the fuel light will come on and than when it gets to 10 DTE it will come up low fuel instead of a mileage #.

I raised this question a week or so ago without a good answer. My miles left til empty was at 26. When I filled up my 26 gallon tank, it took 23.3 gallons. There was no light on. So I have no idea.

I had 45 miles till empty, I guess I'm used to my last truck where it would come on and I would have 5 gallons left and the gauge would be in the Red. I guess I like it being more accurate on the Ram then having a huge reserve that the gauge does not show.

Mine comes on with 5 gallons left, but I usually don't let it get that low so I don't remember how many miles to empty it said. I have the 32 gallon tank.

I also have the 32-gallon tank and the one time I ran it down till the light came on it showed 75 miles DTE and had about 6 gallons left in the tank.

Last week i had 75 MTE
most times it comes on when it is in the high 40s

you can't remote start the Ram after you get a light

I have a 32 gallon tank and if I fill when the light comes on I will put in 23 gallons for a complete fill? I have verified that I do have a 32 gallon tank. I have not kept track of the MTE shown on EVIC.

See this has been driving me nutz I have a 26 Gallon Tank and my gas light comes on at around 75 Miles and that's way too soon. I have a 14 Sport 8 Speed 3.21 Gears. I don't like it because I can't use remote start and their is still lots of gas left in the tank and I need to put gas in to use remotes start and the light drives be crazy

Mine comes on at 40km to empty. Pretty low considering my Ford Explorer would come on at 80km.

40km may not be a lot of notice depending where you are, if you're not paying attention.

Could these different settings be reset at the dealer with a software reflash/change?

Mine comes on around 26 miles left and LOW FUEL at 10. Is that calculated off of current mpg or historical?

Id hate to see the Low Fuel light on mine...32gal tank, i was above 1/4 yesterday from a long trip to the eastern shore and back, cost $72 for 24.4gal....if i was on E :wow:...pockets stay empty with this beast!

^^^^ That's exactly when my low fuel light came on. It took 88.4 to fill so that was ~ 11 liters remaining in my 26Gal 98 liter tank.

I put 26.4 gallons into my 26 gallon tank once. I had been getting the low fuel light on with about 4 gallons left but now I seem to only have about 2 gallons so I came REALLY close to running out.

I have had 2 ram trucks. They both kicked on when I reached 35 miles to empty, didn't have a specific amount of fuel left, it all depended on how I was driving. Hope this helps.

Mine comes on at about 1/4 tank, usually have 95 MTE. I can drive days with it on.
