Hi guys,

I'm looking to buy the extang solid fold in the GTA. Any advice on where to purchase?

Thanks

PP
When I purchased mine I picked it up at Action Van and Truck in Mississauga. They had the best price that I found, not that it was a big difference. I eventually replaced mine with the Bak Flip G2.

And they say people in the GTA are unfriendly! Sorry leftcoast, no offense intended I just figured if you knew where to buy a tonneau round here you probably also knew what GTA stood for (and encompassed)!

Thanks for the heads up dgard - I checked on the Extang dealer locator and they came up along with a load of other stores. Trying to save myself a bit of legwork when it comes to calling around getting quotes. Did you swap the SolidFold for the Bakflip then? I've been considering both but the SolidFold has won right now just due to the ease of install and decent level of security. Any thoughts if you've had both?

I had the Extang on my truck for approx. 1 year. It never quite fit right on the front corners of the box. I use to get quite a bit of water in there. Also if you wanted to carry something that took up the whole box you have to take it off. Even when folded you still have approx. 1/3rd of the box covered.
With the Bak Flip it will fold up against the cab. So far I've a minimal water. I also like the way the Bak Flip sit flush with the rails of the box. As for install, it took me about 20 - 30 minutes. More than happy with the Bak Flip.

I just got a bakflip G2 installed at accessory depot in hamilton on my 04 Ram over the weekend. I have been looking far & wide for this cover and finally found a place that will beat all competitors prices.

PM me for more info if your willing to make the trip.

Cheapest I have found for the bakflip

Just out of curiosity - what made you go for the Bakflip over the SolidFold?

I've been calling around places today - cheapest I can find the SolidFold is for $770+tax but theres a store selling the BakFlip G2 on sale for $799+tax. I've read a few reviews and I'm pretty sold on the SolidFold because of it's ease of installation and removal and the fact it leaves your bed rails untouched..
