Im doing a 2.5 inch leveling kit on my 2010 1500.

Im putting 275 70 18 Toyo MTs on ion 179 wheels

My buddy thinks they will rub. do you guys think they will rub with a 2.5 inch level kit.

The kit replaces the upper control arms and Im also replacing the original springs and struts with new ones which should keep it sitting a little higher to.

275 70 18 = 33.6 inches

not sure how wide 70s are

275 is the width in mm's, about 10.8"
That tire is almost identical in size to a stock 275/60R20 (33" x 10.8")

70 is the aspect ratio (side wall height is 70% of the width)

275 x .70 = 192.5

Side wall height x2 = 385mm (15.157")
add to that the rim diameter (18")
total tire height = 33.157"

Depending on the wheel offset,
you could probably run that size tire on a 4/6 dropped suspension.
