Does anyone know what those yellow things are above the rear axle of their truck? If so, is it bad that mine have the tips cut off? The first owner had the truck lowered and probably cut the rounded tips off. I had the dealership put the original suspension, did they also had to replace those yellow (foam-ish) shocks? I don't haul have stuff in the bed of my truck, maybe a bike once in a while and on a rare occasion a couch or a washer.

appreciate y'alls help,

They are bump stops, a cushion to protect the axle from hitting metal to metal from excess travel.

Is it a big deal that the tips are cut off?
Probally wont cause you any problems unless your hauling really heavy loads or 4 wheeling on rough roads.

If its 3" tall and they cut off an 1" its no big deal IMO.

^agreed. It's just for when the suspension bottoms out, which should really never happen.
