I know a lot of guys have pondered the Zone Upper Control Arm's when they lift/level their truck and we've even had a few guys throw a photo or two of them up for everyone to see. Since I'm having a lift installed tomorrow, I figured I would take some photos for everyone to compare to their stock UCA's that are on the trucks now. Take a quick look under your wheel well and you'll quickly see these Zone UCA's are a huge upgrade over OEM.

Oh I see! I got my 5100's ordered today and they should be in within 1-2 days then installed. I've also already got 2 different people in line for my stock wheels and tires.

:smileup: I'm contemplating on if I want to sell my stock rims/tires, but I'm sure they will end up being sold once I decide to fund my next project...

I'll try and get a few photos tomorrow evening after I get home!

This makes me want to upgrade the UCA's on mine but I doubt the wife would really buy off on it right now. Maybe in a couple months. I see quite a few guys running the Mevotechs as well. They don't look near as beefy but I hear good things about them still. There's still so many other things I want to do so I just have to stay patient.

As promised, here are a few photos of the stock UCA's just so you can truly see the difference. The weight alone on the Zone UCA's is about double the stock set and it seems as though the Stock UCA's are hollow in the center. I don't have any regrets at all about this upgrade after seeing stock UCA's. Truck had 15k miles when I brought her in for the lift and new UCA's.

Here is one of the Zone UCA's on her.... I'll try to get a few more when I am not running out of daylight.

Wow! Looks great man! I'm not usually an all blacked out type of guy (even though my first Ram was all black) but that is incredible. Everything looks just right. Congrats!

Nice write up and pics!

I've been looking at UCA's, but I've been trying to figure out the main advantages of doing this swap? Besides the obvious beefiness/strength factor and the greasable joints of the Zone UCA's, would you say anything else about the truck has changed so far?

CST and Zone talk about being able to adjust the alignment better and that it gives better wheel articulation, have you noticed any difference now that the new ones are on?

I can't really be subjective in answering that because I had a lift kit installed, Bilstein 5100's installed and newer, larger tires installed. I can tell you the ride is much better than stock, however I can't point to any one particular thing and say "this is what made it so amazing". I didn't do the alignment, however the guys at the shop didn't seem to complain or worry that it wasn't where it should have been.

I'll attach a few more photos tonight of the UCA's to give you all different views/angles to see them at and draw your own conclusions.

Photos as promised... I have no rubbing issues at all and it appears I have a full 1" clearance from the tire on the components.
