Does these updated tunes come through the "Update Client"? How did you find out and get yours? I sent BD an email last night to send me the latest tune. I went through the update client first but after updating it still says I'm running A019. Thanks for the info.

 

just call their customer service and they email it directly to you with instructions. they are very fast too.

 

Yeah I did. Just got back from the test drive, even though it takes a couple days for it to really get adjusted, it definitely has more power and acceleration. Also holds 1st and 2nd gear longer during normal driving. One thing I noticed though, down I don't have a trans. temp. reading, just says "0". If you don't care check yours. I'm with you though, by far the best update yet!!

Question! I just update the bully dog 40430 to A025 from A022. Do I have to put the RAM back to stock before I install the new software in.

You needed to put it back to stock before you updated the programmer. I have a feeling it didn't take.

 

Ho! Boy! Lucky me I have a my old A022 software card so I will put it back to stock with my old one A022 and then use my new card for the new one A025.

After updating your programmer and while it's still hooked to the computer, go to the menu, then scroll down to "show settings" that'll tell you the version and tune you have.

 

ive never returned mine to stock when doing updates. I just update my tuner sd card from my laptop and then reinstall it in the BD, then my truck, and load the tune. Devildog....I haven't looked at the trans temp setting on the BD as I have that in my EVIC screen. If I can remember, I'll look at it on the BD and see what it says.

And doing this that way it will just over right the tune of A022 already install.Does that mean lest flashing to the ECM that way! just a guess LOL.

exactly grizzly........those are the instructions emailed directly from bully dog. I can forward you the email if you'd like. I always just overwrite the previous tune. I have never set the truck back to stock once. In fact, my truck hasn't been stock since 200 miles on the clock lol.

that would have been nice to know before I reflashed my truck 40 times , this is the first I've heard of being able to just update the sd card :4-dontknow:

 

I would just plug my BD in the USB port, run the copy program, then update the BD in the menu, stick it on the truck and update to the latest Tune, I had asked support once if I needed to put the truck back to stock to install the new tune, they said nope.

 

I just did it whit the card in the computer and dowmload it to BD and update the BD and tune the RAM! Everything whent good and lest time to update.:smileup: Ore either way how you do it sound good to me.

 

Im still on a016 and my update agent wont connect to the BD server to update to the latest.

Anybody have a link to Ao25?? Please :smileup:

 

Mac users/ Bully Dog

Just got the bully dog HEMI plus for Xmas... Having trouble with the update agent... I have a Mac so it says just copy the files to the Sd card then install... I did that but it have me a code 262... Which the instructions say if you receive code 262 reconnect Sd card to update agent to download more files... Sounds simple but I don't HAVE THE UPDATE AGENT BULLY DOG!!! And they are in holiday break until Jan 2nd!!! Anyone have the walk through for MAC users? Thanks for any help...

Go to bullydog.com. Click on download at the top of the page. Scroll down to where it says "Macintosh Users Only". Click on "GT Gas Hemi"
