1997 ram 1500 swap in a hemi

I know it has been done b4 so i just have a few questions. First off, wiring, how would i go about wiring it up. I havnt checked with painless yet but it seems like they make more shit for chevy's then anything else. Mounting the motor and transmission, transfer case and shafts shouldnt be a major problem case i love custom makeing brackets but wiring is my weakest(i mean bad bad weakness) point so i dont no much about it. Yes i no it would be easier putting a 5.9 liter engine in there but not as much fun, i want to drop the peddle to the floor and feel these wonderful motors put me in the back of the seat. Please ive done bought a 04 hemi with automatic trans and transfer case. Any info i can get is awsome, i just have hit a stump an need some help gettin back on track before i lose interest.

Welcome to the Z. Definitely an interesting project. If you can still get your hands on the rest of the truck the Hemi came out of, I'd go get it and use it as a donor. Other than the motor, trans, and x-fer case; what else did you get? Any of the electronics? Wiring, you're going to need a good wiring diagram. You may be able to buy a service manual from Dodge via http://www.dodge.com then click on owners and then click on manuals (or something like that).
