If you type in "3rd gen wheels on 2nd gen ram" in google images, you will probably see the wheels you want. I was going to do the same thing but got a good deal on new wheels.
Yes, 2nd-4th gen wheels are interchangeable. I am not sure about 1st gens. The biggest issue is with older wheels on newer truck, they can be too small to clear the brake calipers
