4x4 Off Road Decal Removal???

Hello everyone. My wife dislikes my 2021 “4x4” decals on the sides of the truck bed. And frankly I’m not a fan of them either but didn’t realize when I ordered that I could have opted out of them. I’ve had the truck for about 5 months now. Are these things removable? And if so how? And will it leave any markings or will it look like no decal was ever on it?

Any input is really appreciated. I definitely don’t want to screw up my brand new 2021 truck.

Get a hair dryer and heat the decal and it will peal off, if there is any left over adhesive just use a little goo-gone and then wax that area with a couple of coats of wax and you are good to go. This should take you about 5 to 10 minutes per side start to finish.

If the was a several year old truck then you would need to worry about paint fade but being a new truck not a problem.

Thanks RaceHillFarms - did just what you said and both stickers off in about 10 easy minutes with a hair dryer. Only had a couple of areas with adhesive and the goo-gone got rid of that quickly. Turned out nice and there wasn't any fading in the paint. Again, thanks for the tips.

Your welcome I wish my 2019 Classic Laramie had a Ram Box on it. That is a nice looking truck.

Keep an eye on the black covering on the "C" pillars between the front and rear windows, if it starts to wrinkle you can remove it the same way you did the decals. It will be paint under the covering.

Here is my 2019 Classic with the black covering and with the covering removed.
