Add off road package?

Hey all, has anyone here added the off road package to a Ram after owning it for a little while? I'm thinking about adding it to my 2019 Ram Bighorn but wondering if it's cheaper to just go with aftermarket with separate parts (mainly the suspension/lift and skid plates). Also...does the package include a LSD swap or adding a locking diff..? Curious about how all the prices compare too. Thanks!

Here's the package for 2021:

135902

The Off-Road Information Pages is new for 2021.

The skid plates by themselves (Protection Group) are about $400 and the e-locker is $545 so you get a good deal getting the "bundle". FCA has not fixed their "typo" but there are really only 3 skid plates - the steering gear and front suspension skid plates are really the same one.

If it were me I would go with the OEM skid plates and tow hooks and then branch out from there.

Suspension is wide open to your desires and budget. Some have gone with ORP springs (1" lift over stock) and then leveled the front and others have gone with a complete lift kit. There are too many options to list.

If you have an open diff then you have options depending on what you want as far as LSD or a locker (air or electronic).

The full size spare is up to you. I will say that you won't fit much more than 275/65-18 under there unless you want to do some trimming.

You will not be able to get the Off-Road Information Pages unless you have a 2021. Those are not in our truck's uConnect (I've tried).

Interesting, it doesn't list anything regarding the extra 1 or 2 inches of ground clearance though. Plus...that price is prior to the truck being built so I'm sure the price skyrockets for someone looking to have that listed added on and parts being replaced. Otherwise...$840 would be a steal lol. Thank you!
