Air suspension lowering links?

4 wheel air suspension on my '20 Limited. Has anyone experimented with using or making lowering links to lower all suspension levels? On my Grand Cherokee Summit with 4 wheel air, I'd made new links that I could adjust to alter the ride height, and on that Jeep I'd lowered all levels by 1" front and 1.25" rear. I'd like to do the same on this RAM, so since I kept the custom links when I sold the Jeep, I may try them on my truck. But didn't know if anyone had done this on a RAM and if there were any issues.

Thanks. I'd seen the first post you'd shared. And the links I'd made for my Grand Cherokee are similar to those available for sale but for much less than those using the same type of heim joints as on my 911 race car. I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't set off any codes on the RAM. The system is actually quite simple though I'll have to figure out how many turns equals how many inches of change since front and back will be different based on the lever arms on the sensors being different length lengths. At least on the Jeep there was a difference. I think I'll try my old links as a starting point, it's no more than 5 minutes to change all 4 links

Yes, I installed air links on my 2024 Ram Limited with air. The links are well made and priced well. However I had problems from the start after I installed them. I had purchased the front/rear set for a level look. The front sat taller when installled. I moved the settings button down to "areo " mode then up each level. When it got to the 2 high settings, the truck "stalled" out saying that the system was over heated and I need to wait, then said it could not go down due to a payload, which it did not. After that it was locked up. I followed all the suggestions included and nothing worked until I went out and drove it at high speeds., which did finally cause it to drop down. Came back and reset the links, per the instructions, and the whole issue started again. After much resetting I finally put the original parts back on, and all was good. I also noticed that the front always felt "bouncy" and I didn't care for the ride. I have decided this is best left alone. If you install one of these kits, you probably not be able to use the highest setting. Hope this helps a bit.And yes, I have lots of time doing mechanics on my own vehicles and as a living as well.
