I have owned my 2016 Larmie Long Horn Crew cab 1500 in Black Forest Green Pearl for about 3 months. When will I be able to see the Green?
It is the two tone model. I do love the truck, but it sure looks Black.
The inside is the black saddle tan, simply beautiful. I am also trying to get used to the rotory shift dial.

Haha, so I guess its been cloudy up there in CT, huh?

When its sunny, it will become dark metallic green. Don't worry you will see it and so will others, I get unexpected compliments all the time. Its been really sunny lately in Dallas.

Recently looked at a new Jeep in Black Forest Green paint. Very sharp!
In the sun-glare is does indeed have green highlights. But yeah, mostly jet black.

As for your interior...
I recently ordered a monotone Pearl White 3500 with the Black/Cattle Tan interior. I was a bit worried the seats would look too bright brown, but thankfully its beautiful!

Your two-tone Longhorn would be a head-turner in any color.
Enjoy your new truck!

This is such a nice color!

Actually, the more light you put on an "average" looking woman, the more average she's probably gonna' look.
(Psst... alcohol helps) :smiley_thumbs_up:

As for Black Forest Green RAM trucks...
I can respect a man that has the kahunas to buy an interesting color like that.
As for me; It's black, white, or gray.
AKA: I feel safe with boring colors.
Just sayin'

Buying only grayscale instead of colors is like eating nothing but boiled potatoes for your whole life

I know lol, I wanted Deep Cherry, and the other options for trucks on the lot were dark blue and black. Of those I liked white the best.

I prefer colors, but its not enough of a deal breaker to order vs buy on the lot.

Funny you mentioned that.
Originally I wanted to buy this... (Ruby Red Metallic F-350)

And eventually ended up with this... (Pearl White Longhorn 3500)

Yeah, it's a long story, but mostly; "The wife hated the Ruby Red Metallic".:eek:bm:

Maybe silver, but its up there. It stays noticeably cooler in triple digit heat though

I almost bought a two tone, not sure on name of colors but it was a Laramie 1500, royal metallic blue with tan/gold rockers and flares. I KNEW it was old man but loved it. Was thinking I need some Oakley M Frames to match. But alas, the wife vetoed.

LOL, great response!
Damn... I want to use that as my tag-line.
Right on target! :smiley_thumbs_up:

IMHO Rams look better than the F series regardless of what color each is in (the 2004-2008 F-150 was probably their best stying). That's a styling thing though, that medium blue they have is a sexy color.

Two tone is definitely old man-just like mud flaps or those flares you stuck on Dallas :box:

If I could get past my dislike of leather interiors and 5.7' beds, and had the money for one of the Laramies I would definitely get monotone.

I will say that the Outdoorsman looks pretty good in its two tone, but it still has those flares hanging out past the tires. IMHO it looks more aggressive to have the tires stick out past the fenders a bit.

On my list are some 10mm spacers. I think they will be a good balance between looks, cost, and bearing/hub stress compared to the 1.5-2" adapter style ones. Just need to make some more cash, spent a lot of money already, I have only had the truck since January!

Yeah well, the front bench was on my must have list, but I couldn't get it with an 8 speed at the time without ordering due to the way the dealers configured their trucks, so I had to flex. The console vault isn't a bad consolation prize, and the puppies like it so they can see out the windshield:

White vs Deep Cherry looks good enough that the red was a "like to have"

this two tone looks like spectator shoes, and I don't mean that in a pejorative way- I own some. My truck is BFG, looks black and dusty most of the time, and when washed & shiny, still looks B mostly. The FG part shows up rarely when in sun and the right approach. I'd like a little more FG & less B.

I sometimes wish my Black Gold had a little more Black and a little less Gold. I love the darker colors. I'm sure I would have went with Black Forest Green if it would have been out in 2013. The Pearl White would be a close 2nd for me mainly due to being much easier to keep clean. Mine is a bitch to keep clean even though it is garaged most of the time.

I definitely think you made the right call Rob, the brown and tan goes way better with the black and white gold exterior than the gray and black interior would

I almost bought a Black Forest Green truck. Saw one on the street. I had to be almost right on top of it to tell that it was not a Black Truck. So I bought the Delmonico Red truck I have.
