I did a search but came up empty handed. Does anybody have any experience with Do It Yourself spray in bedliners what brand they preferred. Rhino Linings wants $600 if I could find a good product I could spray myself that would be cool. Thanks in advance

I've been researching this over the past few weeks. Some like the DIY stuff but most don't. Back in '05 when I got my '01 3500 the bed was pretty beat by a deformed plastic liner so I sprayed it with 3M Body Shutz. It held up very well for 10 years for what it was.
For my new truck I am going with a BedTred liner. Less messy install...

We did the "roll-on" bedliner that you can get from the auto parts store to my buddy's truck. It's held up great over the last 5-6 years. It's all about taking your time and prepping the truck bed properly.

The best DIY bed liner I am aware of is the u-pol raptor liner @ u-pol.com. You can order the basic black kit or a tint-able version you can color match. The price is very reasonable, especially if you already own a decent sized air compressor. (10 gallon+) You MUST prep the surface well and tape off more than you think to avoid overspray but other than that it is very easy and forgiving to work with.

If you do this yourself make sure you got a good place to do it. That stuff really flies and whatever it gets on it stays on. I have never sprayed it myself, but I know folks who did. I have rolled it on trailer beds etc and it comes out great. The Herculiner really works well. On a pickup bed with the corners curves etc rolling may not be the best option.

I wouldn't mess with a DIY bedliner. I did mine in my last truck. It was a MAJOR pain in the a$$. From the prep work to the actual application of the product it took me literally all day and into the night. It came out looking OK at best. I would just have a shop do it that do them professionally and has all the equipment to do them right.

Ramman, if you're in SE Mass check out Carl's Collision in Fall River. They do LineX. My 8' bed was 575 under rail. It came out great. Plus there is the lifetime warranty.
I was all set to go with aBedRug or Bedtred but they do not fit a dually bed and I would need to cut holes for the hitch holes defeating the purpose of a liner and throwing out any warranty.
