High beams won't stay on!

So, I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L and I can't get the high beams to stay on. When the lights are switched on and I pull back the light lever, the high beams will flash, but when pulled back so they click the blue high beam light will light up on the dash but the actual high beams will go out and back to low....

Any ideas?

Sounds like your multi-function switch isn't so multi-function any more.

3rd Gen high beams won't stay on

This guy DWALL87 printed this in 2012, well I have an '04 with 5.7 HEMI, but same issue, pull back on the stalk and high beams come on for 2 seconds then go to lows, blue indicator on dash says we still in high, but we ain't. Any ideas?

Did you figure this out? It is currently happening to my 98 dodge ram 1500.

I don't know if you still have the truck or if you figured out the problem but currently having the same thing on my 08 dodge ram.

I have a 2009 Ram 1500 ST and has the same problem. Turns out that the high beam will not stay on if the lights are on Auto. I turn on the Headlights to ON and then turn on the high beams, it stayed on.
