Intake Manifold Pressure

Okay, I’ve got a 2004 1500 with the 4.7. I’ve been getting the P2074 code (which nobody seems to have posted a solution for) and I’ve been checking for an air leak. I’ve replaced a few old/loose hoses which didn’t fix the issue. (I’ve also replaced the MAP sensor, AIC sensor, and cleaned the TPS sensor but this isn’t related to my direct question.) I also sprayed carb cleaner around the TB and all air hoses and never got a response in RPM.
I bought a compression gauge to see if the vacuum pressure drops while running. I saw this can help determine if there is a vacuum leak. I hooked it up to the intake manifold via the brake booster hose and via the PCV hose but I never got a reading.
How much pressure (psi) should I see? Perhaps it’s not enough to detect on my gauge? I added a picture of it so you all can see. Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but it seemed pretty simple.
I appreciate your help in advance.

I'm not sure why you thought a pressure gauge would work to measure vacuum. Even if you had a supercharger or turbo charger I'm not sure a compression gauge would do you any good. Most are designed to hold the needle at peak pressure after you crank the engine so you can see what the compression peaks at.

You need a vacuum gauge to measure the vacuum in the intake. You can get a "Mightyvac" hand vacuum pump at harbor freight for about $50.00 that has a built in gauge its what I use.

At idle you can be anywhere between 15 to 22 in.-Hg

Well, the reason I used a pressure gauge is because of ignorance. I didn’t realize there was a difference in tools. Everything I saw online people said they were checking compression, so I got a compression gauge.

On the bright side, I may have found my vacuum leak. One of the small air lines coming out of the booster check valve (going into the dash/firewall) had a hole in it. After making a temporary repair I’m test driving it to see if it’ll stall on me again.
