Well I decided to see what all the hype was about this product. I can tell everyone has had a good experience with this so I figured my engine could use a little cleaning.

I did this along with my CAI today and WOW what a difference.

I just put half the can through the line under the booster and then the rest in the tank. Let it sit for an hour, started it up let it idle, and drove it hard. The smoke didnt last too long and it wasnt as crazy as i had seen in videos on youtube but there was a good amount. But I will tell you what my throttle responce was so much better and acceleration was incredable. best it has been since having the truck for 4 months. I was actually going to reset the pcm today but I couldnt get the negative battery cable off the damm battery. But after driving it didnt seem like i needed it. I was shifting a lot better on the highway and I didnt have to put my foot down all the way and wait for the engine to finally get going..

I didnt put in the in crank because I just changed the oil last month with RP. I was actually wondering if it would be ok to use again at say the end of august when I change the oil again to use seafoam again? Let me know what you guys think of that idea. I will probly have used 6-7000 miles of RP. I know it lasts a long time but the oil that was in it before was really dirty from when I bought the truck so I wanted to run that less then what I could then change it and be even more sure I got less crap in there

But anyway, great product. Next time I use it I will try to make a video of it do 3rd gen guys who have trouble will be able to figure it out quicker

Nice report on the sea foam. I used it on my first car - a 2000 Camry - when it had 180k miles or so. TONS of smoke out of that little 4 cyl motor. Actually, the reason I did it was because my CEL came on for the EGR valve on that car. Sea foam cleaned it out and CEL went off after another 3-5 cycles. It stayed off for about a year until the EGR valve completely went. But after my experience with it, I'm a believer in the stuff

Seafoam is great stuff. I havent used it on my Ram yet, but I had an old bronco that had 185k on it, and used seafoam (oil, booster, and fuel tank) man that thing smoked. The neighbors thought my truck was on fire, but I can say for sure that is definately cleaned everything up. so well that i had to do an oil pump change because the stuff it knocked loose in the engine was blocking the oil pump. I dont think the previous owner ever changed the oil in it. but it ran for about 70k after and i changed the motor out. i use it in my fuel every oil change.
