Just installed this head unit and thought I'd give it review. I replaced my Mygig REN because whenever it was hot in the cab the touchscreen calibration would be off making it annoying to use. I chose the Kenwood DDX470 based on a few features; excellent blue tooth capabilities, the ability to manually turn on the review camera, and a turn knob for the volume. It also has great reviews at a reasonable price.
The install was pretty straight forward. I did have to do some trimming to get it to fit, but nothing too drastic. I used the PAC RP4-CH11 interface that also includes the adapter to retain steering wheel controls. The PAC interface has a reverse signal wire in it to make hooking up aftermarket rear view cameras easy.
I've had it installed a few weeks now and its worked great. I love the Pandora function that works with both android and apple devices. I just hit the Pandora button on the head unit and it pulls up my stations and lets me like or unlike songs while never touching my phone. The blue tooth also works great with phone calls, I've used it several times and everyone says they can hear me just fine. I have an 8 gig memory stick plugged in and the unit reads it very quickly.
The only gripe I have is that I can no longer can control front to back fade on my speakers. This is due to me having the factory infinity amp installed so nothing really against the head unit. In the future I may bypass the factory amp all together.
Here are a couple of installed pics, its doesn't sit as flush as the factory unit did, I'm sure I can adjust it but it really doesn't bother me at all.
