Anyone make a decent bright aftermarket rear tail light LED assembly for the ram 1500 yet? I dont seem to see anything that looks any good on ebay.

LED Taillights

I was contemplating getting the Laramie stock lamps until I ran across the VIPMotoz LED taillights on eBay. They were about 1/3 the cost that the stock LEDs would have been and they look great. They have clear or red depending on taste.

As I worked in the automotive lighting industry for 20 years, I was impressed with the quality and fit.

Thanks for the reply, is the led light output bright? I remember many moons ago the aftermarket versions used to be somewhat dimmer than the OE type. Did you also buy any?

Forget about all those cheap aftermarket led taillights. They will look off after some time I promise you. What you do is keep the stock housings and get some led bulbs. Not just any led bulbs though. Hit me up, I got d hookup. But here is some proof of what I'm talking about. Hope it help guys, 1-10 the cost of any aftermarket twilight and will look red hot stock.

Picture just shows lows in case you are wondering but the real deal is on the highs(brake). Lights actually get brighter and brighter as you move away from the tail lights. It's just crazy.
You done this mod on the ram rear lights? More information and write up would be appreciated.

I would just get a set of LED tails. Roughly 150$ and won't have to worry about putting resistors on the LED bulbs or any other nonsense. Just plug and play. I ran my Spyder brand LED tails that I got off ebay for well over a year and a half (sold the truck is the only reason I don't still have them) and they had absolutely no issues. Bright and way cleaner look than halogen bulbs. Just my opinion..
