Wrestled with taking the spats off, but ended up putting them back on. Looks a little odd up close from the side, but I prefer keeping the protection from the spats. Have to look for it to see it. Only did the rears, have the molded OEM "flaps" on the front. May or may not switch those in the spring. Had to drill a different top hole to align them the way I wanted. They naturally wanted to cant inward at the bottom. I'm impressed by how sturdy they feel.

Nice. I do believe that is the first time I've seen mud flaps installed with the spats left on as well. With the risk of paint damage from rubbing I can understand why you went that route. I've seen most will install some 3M tape or similar back there for the protection.

On a side note, how are you liking your Duratracs? I think I may get those as well for my next set. I don't drive my truck a lot (company car) but those tires seem to be exactly what I'm looking for: More aggressive look, not a super heavy tire so not a huge hit in fuel economy or performance, fairly quiet on the road.

The Duratracs are pretty good. I bought the truck in September with old Duratracs on it. They were badly cupped and rattled my brain at 75mph+. They were also very loud. I believe they had roughly 40k on them, perhaps slightly less, and appeared from service records to have been regularly rotated. When I go the new ones about 3k miles ago, the difference was incredible. They are much smoother and quieter. I've never owned a truck prior to this, so I have nothing to compare my experience with, but I bought the Duratracs because I liked the look and they feel solid in turns.

Cool, thank you for the review of them. They do look great, especially on our trucks with the 20" chrome clad wheels.
