Is it possible to show the Oil Life left on the Evic?

2014 Laramie V6 quad cab. Thanks for any tips.

I can see it on my Express when I scroll through the vehicle info, so you should be able to on your Laramie.

From your steering wheel controls:
Press and release the DOWN arrow button to scroll downward through the main menu to “Vehicle Info”.

Press and release the RIGHT arrow button to access the ”Oil Life” screen.

You're welcome. There's plenty of good info when you scroll through the various screens.

With the premium cluster you can set it up to display a little gauge all the time showing how much oil you have left.. It is in the settings menu in the EVIC. I have it set up to show mine on the left hand side. It doesn't give you a number value but it does give you a quick reference to see how much you have left.

It seems to me that the oil life is pretty much just calculated using the miles driven since the last oil change. I have done some towing in the past two months, and I know that should have decreased the oil life faster than regular driving. I'm at 5500 miles, and I'm at 45% oil life. If you factor the oil change at 10000 miles like they tell you in the maintenance section, it seems like it goes by the miles instead of how hard the engine is actually working during that period.

...And they still put this sticker on the windshield that says to come back in 3 months for the next oil change.

I live in the suburbs of NYC and drive 40 miles round trip everyday to work on the NJ Turnpike in slow traffic. However I drive out into the country on the weekends and I get 5200-6500 miles every oil change. I have no idea how it is calculated, but it definitely varies.

Just my 2 cents

Regular oil from my dealership! I actually bought the 4 oil change package for $74.99, I buy them every year. I have a thing with wanting factory only maintenance on my truck. The only thing I have done, not at a dealership is breaks and tires and rotations. Before I had the air suspension I would buy the lifetime alignment at my local Firestone, but now I have the dealership, I have read too many horror stories on these fourmz about alignment problems.
