I am in need of one power seat motor too. I own a 2006 Dodge Crew Cab 2500. The motor that drives the front edge of the driver's seat 'clicks' but does not move the seat up or down as designed.

A local salvage yard has a 2005 Dodge with a power seat but will only sell the whole seat. If you come up with a source of motors I am interested.

Save yourself the time and the headache. If the seat works, buy it now! I have been looking for these same motors. Can't find them. Use the motor you need and save the rest. They will fail eventually. The seatback in mine broke as well. It's the mechanics in the seat back that failed. Been checking the local yards for a power seat for a while.

Have you guys thought about taking the motor's off and taking it to a local alternator/starter shop . They are capable of rebuilding them also .

Try ebay there's a guy that sells the motors and gears. Type in seat motors and the yr and make of your vehicle. Good luck.
